Israeli Made Purchases2

Supporting
Local
Innovation

The Israeli Made Purchases Department at the Manufacturers Association of Israel promotes local manufacturing by enforcing preference regulations in public tenders, managing offset agreements, and driving awareness campaigns. In collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and ICA, we advance legislation, update product classifications, support local businesses, and certify "Made in Israel" products- Enhancing Israel’s industrial growth and global competitiveness.

Promoting Offset Management and Assistance with the ICA

Offset Management ensures that foreign suppliers awarded government contracts over $5 million invest a set percentage in Israel through industrial cooperation.

The Industrial Cooperation Authority (ICA) oversees these commitments, facilitating partnerships between foreign and Israeli industries.

As part of our efforts, the Israeli Made Purchases Department collaborates with the ICA to create business opportunities, especially in high-tech and priority areas. We identify Israeli companies with proven capabilities for cooperation across sectors like technology, energy, automation, life sciences, defense, infrastructure, and more.

Issuing the "Made in Israel" Label

The "Made in Israel" label helps consumers identify Israeli-made products on packaging and company websites. Managed by the Israeli Made Purchases Department and the Ministry of Economy, it supports local industry and job creation.

Businesses with the label gain visibility in the Blue and White Buyers Catalog and receive priority in government tenders, along with promotional opportunities.

Addressing and Resolving Cases of Discrimination Against Israeli Industry

We address complaints about the failure to prioritize Israeli-made products, particularly in cases of exclusion or discrimination in public tenders. We investigate the issue, contact the tender issuer and relevant authorities, and work to resolve it.

If you experience exclusion or discrimination, please reach out to us so we can take appropriate action.
